Video-endoscopic radical inguinal lymph node dissection for a patient with vulvar cancer
Abstract
Vulvar carcinoma is an uncommon cancer whose treatment and follow-up centers mainly on surgical management. In the case here described, we introduce an approach for inguinal lymph node dissection through video-endoscopy which is different to that of traditional open surgery. We believe our approach reduces surgical trauma, and its implementation could be valuable in improving patient outcomes.
